Juggernaut-class sketch

Sketch for a larger 'battleship' cousin to the U.S.S. Defiant, scaled up to be about 540 meters long. It was based on an idea I had about ten years ago for what the future Enterprise-J (self-indulgently) might look like. I thought that the way of Starfleet design would go the way of the Defiant. This drawing isn't of course the original, and has been improved with a few ideas I've had since. (It was also a good excuse for me to practice on my tablet.)

This ship would not be so far in the future, maybe 2380 or 2390s. Basically it's the Defiant's main body scaled up with a pointier version of the Enterprise-E's saucer stuck in front, with an addition of a secondary hull and a few nacelle changes. There is a shuttlebay at the top and another at the fantail; theoretically they would be internally be connected via elevator and one would be used for entry and the other launch during battle flight ops. There are various phaser strips scattered on the hull. I'm thinking it would also have pulse phasers mounted around. There is a 'turret' torpedo launcher on the saucer ventral not unlike that of the Enterprise-E. Not sure if it would have the same yacht setup there too.

I may refine this design into full ortho plans later.
