Based on the drawing by grimmcj found here: [link] I think it's a really awesome design. I was going for a metallic look to the costume, like it might be some advanced liquid metal Krypton tech (or shiny latex). I went with gold on the field for the 'S' and the belt because many of the designs I've seen that omit the trunks usually add a red band in its place, and I wanted to try yellow instead. Personally, I feel it works better against the blue of the costume.

Seems like a combination of Kingdom Come Superman (the logo obviously), Titans Tomorrow Superman (the belt design and lack of trunks), and Earth Two Superman (the top of the logo as the neckline and the cape attaching to it).

Thanks! Honestly, I do prefer something closer to an 'S' myself too. The more angular ones seem more... aggressive. Almost too aggressive.
